UNK Student Government

I have been actively involved in Student Government throughout my four years at UNK, with a strong focus on creating a lasting impact on campus. During my freshman year, I served as a Freshman Senator, and for the past three years, I have represented the College of Business and Technology as a student senator. In my first two years in the Senate, I contributed to the Constitutional Review Committee, where I played a key role in reviewing and approving student organizations' constitutions. Currently, as the Facilities, Campus Development, and Sustainability Committee Head, I lead initiatives to promote sustainability and improve the campus environment. This includes organizing programs that prioritize sustainable practices and enhance the beauty of UNK’s grounds, ensuring our campus remains an inviting, eco-friendly space for all students. In 2024, I was instrumental in forming the UNK Sustainability Committee and planning Sustainability Week, which featured a series of earth-centered events for students. For my dedication to these efforts, I was honored with the Senator of the Year award at the annual Student Government inauguration in April.
